Born and raised just outside the city limits in Baltimore County, I have a deep connection to Baltimore. My mom started her career as a Baltimore City teacher, my dad spent nearly 25 years working at Johns Hopkins, and my Pop worked at Bethlehem Steel. Long before real estate became my career, Baltimore was already a big part of my family's story.
I’ve spent most of my adult life getting to know the city from the inside out. I lived in Federal Hill, Fells Point, and Canton and spent 18 years in Baltimore's restaurant industry. I worked at places like Duda’s Tavern, the longest family-owned bar in Fells Point, and One Eyed Mike’s, where I was there in the early days and even had my own bottle number, C-5, in the original Grand Marnier cabinet.
Those years introduced me to people from every corner of Baltimore and gave me an appreciation for what makes this city special. Some of our favorite memories still revolve around the local places we love — grabbing Cookie Monster ice cream from Bmore Licks, espresso and pastries from Café Dear Leon, lunch at Di Pasquale’s, or celebrating a family meal at Tio Pepe. My wife and I even got engaged at Tio Pepe and later held our wedding reception there.
That connection to Baltimore's small-business community continues today. I’ve gotten to know and support local businesses like Baltimore Spirits Company, and my family enjoys giving back through things like school supply and costume drives for St. Francis Neighborhood Center. To me, those relationships and traditions are as much a part of Baltimore as the neighborhoods themselves.
Today, Baltimore is where my wife and I are raising our son. My dad, uncle, cousins, and I all attended Loyola Blakefield High School, a tradition my son will continue as the third generation to walk those halls. I'm incredibly fortunate to have such a supportive wife beside me, both personally and professionally, and we love sharing the city with our son and creating our own Baltimore traditions along the way.
Of course, there are still Sundays cheering on the Ravens, summer nights at Camden Yards, crabs, Old Bay, and everything else that comes with calling Baltimore home.
Real estate has allowed me to take everything I've learned from a lifetime here and share it with my clients. I don't just want to tell you how many bedrooms a house has.
